Both Aransas County and the Corpus Christi MSA have remained relatively steady for the past 5 years with respect to population. However, both are expected to grow significantly as a result of more than $52B in planned industrial development from neighboring counties around the Port of Corpus Christi. The Corpus Christi MSA is ranked as the 7th most populous region in the State, providing a significant diversity of people and workforce.
